Job Description

US Foods is looking to hire a highly qualified Human Resources Director to join our team and help ensure the success of our company. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and innovative thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They must have a strong understanding of the human resources field and be able to manage the full lifecycle of HR functions. As a Human Resources Director at US Foods, you will be responsible for driving the HR strategies that support our business objectives and ensure our team members are engaged and productive. You will also be instrumental in creating a positive and diverse workplace that encourages collaboration and innovation. Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field• At least 10 years of experience in Human Resources Management• Proven track record of successfully leading HR initiatives• Understanding of current labor laws and regulations• Knowledge of best practices and trends in the HR field• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with all levels of the organization• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems • PHR or SPHR certification is preferred

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement human resources strategies that support US Foods' business objectives.
  2. Oversee the full lifecycle of HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and training and development.
  3. Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
  4. Develop and maintain positive relationships with team members, leaders, and other stakeholders.
  5. Identify and implement best practices and trends in the HR field.
  6. Develop and maintain organizational policies and procedures.
  7. Monitor and analyze HR metrics and use the data to inform decisions.
  8. Manage the budget and resources for the HR department.
  9. Lead HR initiatives and projects.
  10. Supervise and coach HR staff.
  11. Provide guidance and support to team members in areas such as career development, performance management, and compensation.
  12. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends and best practices.
  13. Manage the employee onboarding and orientation process.
  14. Administer employee benefits programs.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
