We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven District Sales Manager to join our team in Santa Barbara and oversee the Central Coast territory. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and developing strong relationships with our valued customers. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who is ready to take on the challenge of growing our business in this region.   1. Develop and implement sales strategies for the Central Coast territory to achieve company goals and targets.
  2. Manage and oversee a team of sales representatives to ensure they are meeting their sales objectives and providing exceptional customer service.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to increase sales and customer retention.
  4. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends in the foodservice industry.
  5. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of US Foods' products and services to effectively promote and sell to customers.
  6. Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute promotional campaigns to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
  7. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any issues.
  8. Train and coach sales representatives on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service to ensure they are equipped to meet their targets.
  9. Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to upper management.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competition to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  11. Proactively communicate with customers to address any concerns or issues and ensure their satisfaction.
  12. Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote US Foods.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including pricing and contract guidelines.
  14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as operations and logistics, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  15. Continuously strive to improve sales processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients And Internal Teams.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Sales Management, Preferably In The Foodservice Industry.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Growing A Sales Team And Meeting Sales Targets.

  • Strong Knowledge Of The Santa Barbara And Central Coast Market, Including Understanding Of Local Competition, Customer Needs, And Industry Trends.
