Day Forklift Operator

- Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner to move and stack products in the warehouse
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and forklift equipment
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of products
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including inventory control and quality control standards
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to management
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking shelves, picking orders, and preparing shipments
- Continuously strive to improve efficiency and productivity in the warehouse through proactive suggestions and problem-solving.
Valid Forklift Operator Certification: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid Forklift Operator Certification From An Accredited Training Program.
Previous Experience: At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Operating A Forklift In A Warehouse Or Distribution Center Setting Is Preferred.
Knowledge Of Warehouse Operations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Warehouse Operations, Including Safety Protocols, Inventory Management, And Picking And Packing Procedures.
Physical Ability: The Job Requires The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, Stand For Long Periods Of Time, And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment. The Candidate Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Meet The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Attention To Detail: As A Forklift Operator, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Accurately And Efficiently Moving And Storing Products. Attention To Detail Is Crucial To Ensure The Correct Handling And Storage Of Products To Maintain Inventory Accuracy.
