1. Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver foodservice products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Ensure proper loading and unloading of products, following all safety protocols and procedures.
3. Maintain accurate and organized delivery logs and records.
4. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with customers and addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
5. Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure orders are accurately picked and loaded onto the delivery truck.
6. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs to management.
7. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the delivery truck.
8. Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck, both inside and out.
9. Follow company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, safety protocols, customer service standards, and delivery schedules.
10. Continuously improve delivery processes and procedures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
11. Represent US Foods in a positive and professional manner at all times.
12. Complete all required training and certifications, including a Class A commercial driver's license.
13. Adhere to all food safety and quality standards while handling and delivering food products.
14. Meet delivery deadlines and handle any unexpected delays or issues that may arise.
15. Other duties as assigned by management.
