CDL A Delivery Driver

1. Safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle to deliver US Foods products to designated locations.
2. Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations while on the road.
3. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
4. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time of delivery, quantity, and any discrepancies.
5. Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service.
6. Collaborate with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
7. Handle and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
8. Ensure proper handling and storage of products during transportation to maintain quality and freshness.
9. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, both inside and out.
10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and sanitation.
11. Report any vehicle malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately.
12. Continuously monitor and maintain proper temperature controls for perishable products.
13. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of logs, mileage, and other required documentation.
14. Attend training sessions and meetings as required by the company.
15. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliability, ensuring on-time delivery and consistent service to customers.
