
Area Business Development Manager

- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and increase market presence within the assigned area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for business development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and address customer needs.
- Monitor and analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the food industry, including market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Create and deliver presentations to potential clients and stakeholders to showcase US Foods' products and services.
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts in the food industry to generate new business leads.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, products, and services.
- Develop and manage budgets and financial plans to meet business objectives.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities and progress towards goals.
- Train and mentor sales teams to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve business development targets.
- Represent US Foods at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company and build brand awareness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve business development strategies to meet changing market conditions and customer needs.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Sales Or Business Development, Preferably In The Food Industry.
Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets And Developing Strong Customer Relationships.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate And Negotiate With Internal And External Stakeholders.
Strong Analytical And Strategic Thinking Abilities, With The Capability To Identify And Pursue New Business Opportunities And Market Trends.
