  1. Conduct laboratory experiments and procedures accurately and efficiently.

  5. Record and analyze data, and prepare reports and presentations based on findings.

  9. Stay updated on current scientific advancements and literature relevant to the laboratory's research focus.
  10. Train and supervise junior laboratory staff and students.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and provide regular updates on progress and any issues encountered.
  12. Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and protocols for future reference.
  13. Assist in the ordering and inventory management of laboratory supplies.
  14. Continuously strive for accuracy, efficiency, and improvement in laboratory processes and procedures.
  15. Adhere to the ethical standards and policies of the University of Washington.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Laboratory Safety Protocols And Procedures.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Microbiology.

  • Previous Experience Working In A Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Research Or Academic Environment.

  • Familiarity With A Variety Of Laboratory Equipment And Techniques, Such As Microscopy, Pipetting, And Data Analysis Software.
