We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Tech Field specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical expertise and excellent customer service skills to provide technical support and training to faculty, staff, and students.   1. Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  3. Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of technology equipment and systems.
  4. Conduct training sessions on various technology tools and services to promote user proficiency and adoption.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement new technology solutions to enhance academic excellence.
  6. Keep abreast of emerging technology trends and make recommendations for improvements and updates to existing systems.
  7. Maintain accurate documentation and records of technical support requests and resolutions.
  8. Communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of technical understanding, providing clear and concise instructions and explanations.
  9. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours technical emergencies as needed.
  10. Provide excellent customer service and strive to exceed expectations in all interactions.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless integration and functioning of technology services.
  12. Adhere to University policies and procedures related to technology usage, security, and data privacy.
  13. Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture by actively participating in team meetings and offering ideas for improvement.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Be a strong advocate for the University's technology services and promote their use to enhance teaching, learning, and research.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Technical Support Or Field Technician Role.

  • Knowledge Of Various Operating Systems, Including Windows And Mac Os.

  • Experience With Troubleshooting And Resolving Hardware And Software Issues.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills To Effectively Interact With Faculty, Staff, And Students.
