Job Description

The University of Utah is currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and creative Team Science Grant Specialist to join our research team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grant writing and project management, as well as an understanding of team science principles and practices. This individual must possess a positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges. An understanding of the University of Utah's mission, values, and culture is essential. We are looking for a professional who can work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students to secure extramural funding opportunities. Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in grant writing, project management, and/or team science• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Demonstrated knowledge of team science principles and practices• Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently• Thorough understanding of grant writing protocols and procedures• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management software• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
