  1. Collaborate with the IT team to analyze and understand the university's software development needs.
  2. Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for various university departments and projects.
  3. Conduct thorough analysis of existing software systems and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug software issues, and provide timely resolutions.
  5. Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and training materials.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software development and analysis.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
  8. Contribute to the planning and execution of software development projects, ensuring they are completed within agreed timelines and budget.

  10. Provide technical support and training to end-users of software systems.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and teams to integrate software solutions and ensure seamless functionality.
  12. Follow best practices and coding standards to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
  13. Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to identify innovative solutions and improvements.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information and comply with university policies and regulations.
  15. Continuously monitor and enhance software systems to improve user experience and overall efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or Related Field: A Strong Foundation In Computer Science Principles And Programming Languages Is Essential For A Software Developer & Analyst Role At University Of Utah.

  • Experience In Software Development: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Software Development, Preferably In A Professional Or Academic Setting.
