Welcome to the University of Utah's Peer Assistant program! We are seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Peer Assistant for Graphic Design & Content Creation. As a Peer Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our marketing and communications department to develop visually appealing and engaging content for various university initiatives.   1. Collaborate with the marketing and communications department to develop visually appealing and engaging content for various university initiatives.
  2. Utilize strong design skills and a keen eye for detail to create high-quality graphics that align with the university's brand and messaging.
  3. Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for new content and design concepts.
  4. Work closely with a diverse group of individuals, including other Peer Assistants, to gather feedback and make necessary revisions to designs.
  5. Meet project deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques in graphic design and content creation.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  8. Take initiative to identify and solve design-related challenges.
  9. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the university and the Peer Assistant program.
  10. Attend regular meetings and training sessions to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  11. Act as a brand ambassador for the university, promoting its values and initiatives through design and content creation.
  12. Follow best practices and guidelines for file organization and storage to ensure easy access and future use of designs.
  13. Assist with tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors to support the overall success of the Peer Assistant program.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Graphic Design Skills: A Peer Assistant Must Possess Excellent Graphic Design Skills, With A Working Knowledge Of Design Software Such As Adobe Creative Suite. They Should Also Have A Creative Eye For Design And Be Able To Produce Visually Appealing Content.

  • Proficient In Content Creation: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Creating Various Types Of Content, Such As Social Media Posts, Posters, Flyers, And Digital Graphics. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Effective Content Creation Strategies.

  • Knowledge Of Branding And University Guidelines: A Peer Assistant Should Have A Clear Understanding Of The University's Branding Guidelines And Be Able To Create Content That Aligns With The University's Brand Identity.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Peer Assistant, The Candidate Will Work Closely With Other Team Members And Must Possess Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills. They Should Also Be Able To Take Constructive Feedback And Incorporate It Into Their Work.

  • Time Management And Organizational Skills: The Candidate Should Be Able To Manage Their Time Effectively And Work On Multiple Projects Simultaneously. They Should Also Have Strong Organizational Skills To Keep Track Of Project Deadlines And Deliver High-Quality Work On Time.
