Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team of Genetic Counselors at the University of Utah. The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong clinical and communication skills to provide exceptional care to patients and families dealing with genetic conditions. The Genetic Counselor will provide patient assessment, genetic counseling, coordination of care, and education on genetic conditions and testing. The successful applicant must have experience in genetic counseling, preferably in a university setting. A master's degree in genetics, genetic counseling, or a related field is required. The ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals is essential. The ideal candidate must also demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to remain organized and efficient in a high-volume setting.
