
Embedded Psychologist

- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns and promoting overall well-being.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals and faculty members to create a supportive and inclusive campus environment.
- Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans for students, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Offer crisis intervention and support services to students in need.
- Develop and implement outreach programs and workshops to promote mental health awareness and self-care practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student sessions and progress.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance and update skills.
- Communicate with campus resources and refer students to appropriate services as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of psychology.
- Foster a positive and empathetic relationship with students, creating a safe and non-judgmental space for them to seek support.
Ph.d. In Clinical Psychology With A Focus On Embedded Mental Health Services.
Experience Providing Mental Health Services In A University Or College Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practices For Treating Mental Health Concerns In A Diverse Student Population.
Ability To Collaborate And Work Effectively With Multidisciplinary Teams, Including Campus Health Professionals And Academic Advisors.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With A Commitment To Promoting Mental Health And Wellness Among University Students.
