1. Develop and oversee the strategic direction and vision for the Learning Services department, in alignment with the university's mission and goals.
2. Ensure that the department's resources, programs, and services are effectively meeting the needs of students and supporting their academic success.
3. Lead and manage a team of educational professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
4. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and implement best practices in student learning and support.
5. Stay current on trends and research in higher education and student success, and integrate this knowledge into departmental initiatives.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with faculty, staff, and students to promote a culture of learning and growth on campus.
7. Monitor and analyze departmental data to assess the effectiveness of programs and services and make data-driven decisions for improvement.
8. Oversee the budget and resources for the department, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
9. Serve as a representative for the department and the university at various events and meetings.
10. Uphold the university's policies and standards for academic integrity and ethical conduct within the Learning Services department.
