
Biomedical Technician
The University of Utah is looking for a highly motivated Biomedical Technician to join our team. We seek an individual with strong technical knowledge and skills in biomedical engineering, as well as a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively troubleshoot and repair medical instruments and equipment and have a passion for learning and staying current with the latest biomedical engineering technologies. To be successful in this role, the Biomedical Technician must have excellent problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. A successful candidate will also possess strong communication and organizational skills.The required qualifications for this role include a minimum of an Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field and at least one year of experience in a medical instrumentation/equipment setting. Advanced knowledge and experience in biomedical engineering, especially in the areas of laboratory and clinical instrumentation, is strongly desired. The ability to read and interpret manuals and schematics, use test equipment and have a working knowledge of computers and computer networks is also essential.We are looking for an individual who is highly-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented to join our team and help us provide exceptional customer service and support.
