The University of Utah is looking for a highly motivated Biomedical Technician to join our team. We seek an individual with strong technical knowledge and skills in biomedical engineering, as well as a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively troubleshoot and repair medical instruments and equipment and have a passion for learning and staying current with the latest biomedical engineering technologies. To be successful in this role, the Biomedical Technician must have excellent problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. A successful candidate will also possess strong communication and organizational skills.The required qualifications for this role include a minimum of an Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field and at least one year of experience in a medical instrumentation/equipment setting. Advanced knowledge and experience in biomedical engineering, especially in the areas of laboratory and clinical instrumentation, is strongly desired.
