Job Description

At the University of Southern California, we are seeking a talented and skilled Visualization Engineer to join our team. The Visualization Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining innovative visualizations to support research and scholarly activities. We are looking for someone with a passion for creating visually stunning user interfaces, and an aptitude for understanding complex data and analytics.The ideal candidate for this role must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in web-based software development and data visualization. You should have excellent communication and research skills and be able to create engaging interactive visualizations from complex datasets. Additionally, you should have experience with a variety of web-based programming languages, such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and be comfortable working with data-mining and visualization tools, such as Tableau and D3.js.If you have a passion for data visualization and a strong technical background, we want to hear from you!
