Job Description

The University of Southern California is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Unit Secretary/Monitor Tech to join our team. We are looking for a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills and a great attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be able to multitask, prioritize and remain calm under pressure. The Unit Secretary/Monitor Tech will be responsible for providing administrative support to the department and monitoring patient health data.To be successful in this role, you should have excellent organizational skills, a strong work ethic and an understanding of medical terminology. You should also be comfortable working with computers and quickly picking up new technology. Previous experience in a medical office and/or hospital setting is a plus. The ideal candidate should also be familiar with privacy laws and regulations, such as HIPAA.
