High School Diploma Or Equivalent: The Minimum Educational Requirement For A Sterile Processing Technician At Usc Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Is Able To Follow Instructions And Guidelines.
Certification In Sterile Processing: Candidates Must Possess A Certification In Sterile Processing, Such As The Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Or Certified Sterile Processing And Distribution Technician (Cspdt) From A Recognized Organization. This Shows That The Candidate Has Received Training And Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform The Job.
Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Candidates With Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Sterile Processing, Are Preferred For This Role. This Experience Demonstrates That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Equipment, Procedures, And Safety Protocols Involved In Sterile Processing.
