Stationary Engineer - Plant Maintenance

The University of Southern California is currently seeking an experienced Stationary Engineer - Plant Maintenance to join our Facilities Services team. We are looking for a dedicated, organized, and detail-oriented individual who is committed to providing superior service and maintenance for our campus facilities. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of plant maintenance operations and be highly knowledgeable in the areas of electrical systems, HVAC, and plumbing. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical expertise to ensure quality and safety are maintained for all of our buildings and campus spaces. Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment• Valid Driver’s License• Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, and plumbing• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a standing position for extended periods of time
