Job Description

The University of Southern California is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Clinical Documentation Specialist Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a thorough understanding of healthcare documentation. As the Senior Clinical Documentation Specialist Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and quality of our clinical documentation.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or a related field, in addition to a minimum of five years of experience in a clinical documentation improvement or coding position. You should be knowledgeable in ICD-10-CM/PCS coding and have a comprehensive understanding of the coding process and the corresponding impact on patient care. A Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification is highly desirable.
