Job Description

The University of Southern California is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Officer to join our team. This individual will serve a pivotal role in the financial management and stewardship of the University by providing strategic and operational direction and oversight to ensure sound financial decisions. This role requires a commitment to excellence, integrity, and collaboration. We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of financial management experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and a CPA designation. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen, experience with financial analysis, and the ability to stay current on accounting regulations. An understanding of the university environment, a track record of developing and implementing financial plans, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders are essential.
