  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the security team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  2. Develop and implement security protocols and procedures in accordance with university policies and industry best practices.
  3. Monitor and assess potential security risks and take appropriate actions to prevent incidents.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and campus stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and effective response to security issues.
  5. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with security protocols and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of security incidents and investigations.
  7. Train and educate security officers on emergency response procedures and provide ongoing training on relevant security topics.
  8. Act as a liaison between the university and law enforcement agencies, ensuring timely and effective communication in case of emergencies.
  9. Stay informed about the latest security trends and technologies and make recommendations for implementing new measures to enhance campus safety.
  10. Foster a culture of safety and security among the campus community, promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
  11. Handle and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise among the security team or with other university personnel.
  12. Collaborate with the university's emergency management team to develop and update emergency response plans.
  13. Ensure that all security equipment and systems are properly maintained and functioning effectively.
  14. Prepare and present reports on security operations and incidents to university leadership as needed.
  15. Serve as a role model and mentor to the security team, promoting professionalism and integrity in all aspects of their work.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Security Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of Security Protocols And Procedures, Including Emergency Response And Crisis Management.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Security Management, Preferably In A University Or Large Campus Setting.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Supervise A Team Of Security Personnel.

  • Familiarity With Security Technology And Systems, Such As Access Control, Cctv, And Alarm Systems.
