- Monitor and patrol the campus premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals on campus.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as accidents or disturbances, and take appropriate action to resolve the issue.
- Conduct regular inspections of campus buildings, facilities, and equipment to identify any security risks or threats, and report them to the appropriate authorities.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activity or behavior.
- Enforce campus policies and procedures to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all community members.
- Provide assistance and support to individuals in need, such as providing directions or escorting them to their destination.
- Collaborate with other campus departments and law enforcement agencies to address security concerns and maintain a cohesive security plan.
- Maintain accurate and detailed reports of any incidents or activities that occur during shifts.
- Assist with the training and orientation of new security personnel.
- Act as a positive role model for the USC community, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and respect in all interactions.
Must Possess A Valid California Guard Card And Be Registered With The Bureau Of Security And Investigative Services.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Law Enforcement Or Security-Related Field.
Ability To Pass A Comprehensive Background Check, Including Criminal History And Drug Screening.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Students, Faculty, And Staff.
Knowledge Of Emergency Response Procedures And Ability To Remain Calm And Act Quickly In Emergency Situations.
