As a Patient Safety Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.   1. Provide exceptional care and ensure the safety of patients at all times.
  2. Monitor patients' condition and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical staff.
  3. Implement safety measures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients, including sanitizing and restocking supplies.
  5. Assist with patient mobility and transfers as needed.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
  7. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including confidentiality and patient privacy.
  8. Attend necessary training and educational sessions to stay current on patient safety protocols.
  9. Collaborate with other team members to provide a positive and supportive work environment.
  10. Display compassion, empathy, and professionalism when interacting with patients and their families.
  11. Follow proper documentation procedures and accurately record patient information.
  12. Take appropriate action in emergency situations, following hospital protocols and guidelines.
  13. Report any incidents or concerns related to patient safety to the appropriate personnel.
  14. Maintain a calm and reassuring demeanor in stressful situations.
  15. Continuously evaluate and assess patient safety practices, making suggestions for improvement when necessary.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: The Minimum Educational Requirement For A Patient Safety Aide Job At University Of Southern California Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.

  • Cpr Certification: Candidates For This Position Should Possess A Current Cpr Certification To Respond To Emergency Situations.

  • Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Patient Care Or Support Role.

  • Knowledge Of Patient Safety Protocols: A Thorough Understanding Of Patient Safety Protocols And Procedures Is Necessary To Ensure The Well-Being Of Patients.
