  1. Develop and implement training programs for standardized patients, focusing on enhancing the learning experience for students.
  2. Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify learning objectives and create scenarios that align with the curriculum.
  3. Recruit, train, and oversee a team of standardized patients to ensure the delivery of high-quality simulations.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the standardized patient program, making necessary adjustments to improve its impact on student learning.
  5. Stay updated on current practices and trends in healthcare education and incorporate them into the standardized patient program.
  6. Maintain accurate records of training sessions, schedules, and evaluations of standardized patients.
  7. Actively participate in faculty meetings and provide input on how to integrate standardized patients into the curriculum.
  8. Serve as a liaison between the standardized patient program and other departments within the university.
  9. Collaborate with other learning and development coordinators to enhance cross-disciplinary learning opportunities for students.
  10. Assist in the development and implementation of assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of the standardized patient program.
  11. Ensure compliance with ethical and confidentiality guidelines when working with standardized patients.
  12. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students, standardized patients, and other team members.
  13. Manage the budget for the standardized patient program and make recommendations for necessary resources and equipment.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth to enhance the standardized patient program.
  15. Act as a role model for students, faculty, and staff by demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to excellence in healthcare education.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Education, Instructional Design, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Instructional Design Or Curriculum Development.

  • Knowledge Of Best Practices In Adult Learning Theory And Instructional Design Methodologies.

  • Experience In Coordinating And Training Standardized Patients For Simulation-Based Learning.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Faculty, Staff, And Students.
