Job Description

The University of Southern California (USC) is seeking an experienced Financial Counselor Representative to join our team in providing comprehensive financial counseling services to our students and families. As a member of the Office of Financial Aid, you will serve as the primary point of contact for students and families regarding their financial aid inquiries and play a pivotal role in helping them to make informed decisions about their educational and financial future. To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field and have at least three years of work experience in the financial aid or student loan industry. Additionally, you must have excellent written and oral communication skills, be highly organized and detail-oriented, and be able to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You should also be comfortable working with a diverse student population and have a genuine interest in student success. If you are passionate about financial aid counseling, have a strong understanding of the financial aid process and regulations, and are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our students and families, we would love to hear from you!
