- Maintain and oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of all athletic facilities, including locker rooms, weight rooms, and training rooms.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly stocked and organized for the use of student athletes and coaches.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating facility usage for practices, games, and events.
- Provide excellent customer service to student athletes and coaches, addressing any concerns or needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify any maintenance or safety issues and promptly report them to the appropriate department.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down equipment and supplies for practices, games, and events.
- Keep accurate records of facility usage, including tracking inventory and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with other departments within the university to ensure smooth operation of athletic facilities.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all student athletes and coaches.
- Act as a liaison between the Athletics department and outside vendors for facility maintenance and repairs.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on department policies and procedures.
- Proactively identify and implement ways to improve the efficiency and functionality of athletic facilities.
- Adhere to all university and departmental policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and confidentiality.
- Assist with special projects and events as needed.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in athletic facility management and make recommendations for improvement.
