  1. Conduct diagnostic testing and procedures under the supervision of a cardiologist.
  2. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for cardiac procedures.
  3. Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  4. Record and document patient information and test results accurately and in a timely manner.
  5. Assist in conducting research studies and collecting data for cardiology research projects.
  6. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  9. Stay up-to-date with advancements in cardiology technology and procedures, and participate in continuing education and training as required.
  10. Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  13. Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and their families.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or department head.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Cardiovascular Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Cardiac Tech In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Certification As A Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis) Or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (Rcs).

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Imaging Equipment And Procedures, Such As Echocardiography, Stress Testing, And Cardiac Catheterization.

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced, Team-Oriented Environment.
