Welcome to the University of Southern California's Leukemia/Lymphoma Program! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Associate Director and Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics. As a leader in the field of pediatric oncology, we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, advancing research efforts, and educating the next generation of healthcare professionals.   1. Oversee the overall operation and management of the Leukemia/Lymphoma Program at USC.
  2. Provide leadership and direction to a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and researchers, to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  3. Develop and implement strategic plans to advance research efforts and improve treatment outcomes for patients with leukemia and lymphoma.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and institutions to foster interdisciplinary research and education initiatives.
  5. Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in the field of pediatric oncology.
  6. Participate in the recruitment and retention of top talent for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Program.
  7. Maintain a strong network of relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, donors, and community partners.
  8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of care.
  9. Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines for the treatment of leukemia and lymphoma.
  10. Stay informed about the latest advancements and breakthroughs in pediatric oncology and incorporate them into clinical practice and research.
  11. Represent the Leukemia/Lymphoma Program at national and international conferences and meetings.
  12. Act as a liaison between the Leukemia/Lymphoma Program and other departments within USC, as well as external organizations and institutions.
  13. Oversee budget and resource allocation for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Program.
  14. Participate in fundraising efforts and grant writing to secure funding for research and patient care initiatives.
  15. Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Leukemia/Lymphoma Program.

Job Qualifications
  • A Medical Degree (Md) And Board Certification In Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.

  • A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Diagnosing And Treating Leukemia And Lymphoma In Children.

  • Demonstrated Success In Obtaining Research Funding And Conducting Clinical Trials Related To Leukemia And Lymphoma.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Multidisciplinary Team In A Pediatric Oncology Program.

  • Active Involvement In Professional Organizations And A Track Record Of Publications And Presentations In The Field Of Pediatric Leukemia And Lymphoma.
