Job Description

The University of Southern California (USC) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and collaborative professional to join our team as the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Outreach. In this role, you will play a key role in helping to ensure that USC meets its recruitment and outreach objectives. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract and engage prospective students, as well as developing meaningful relationships with key stakeholders. We are looking for a candidate with the ability to work independently, think strategically, and embrace challenges. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent people skills and a passion for helping others. The successful candidate will also have a strong understanding of the higher education landscape and the ability to develop relationships with external stakeholders.Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field• A minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment and/or admissions• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing recruitment strategies• Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and identify opportunities• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Proven ability to foster relationships and work collaboratively• Experience in project management and/or event planning• Knowledge of higher education policies and procedures• Proficiency in Salesforce and/or other CRM systems preferred• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
