- Deliver engaging and informative lectures on nonprofit leadership and management to undergraduate and graduate students.
- Develop and update course materials to ensure relevance and alignment with current industry trends and best practices.
- Facilitate meaningful class discussions and activities that encourage critical thinking and application of concepts.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on student assignments and assessments.
- Serve as a mentor and advisor to students, providing guidance and support for their academic and professional development.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure consistency and alignment across courses and programs.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements and changes in the field of nonprofit leadership and management, and incorporate relevant information into teaching.
- Participate in departmental meetings and events, and actively contribute to program development and improvement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and promotes student success.
- Maintain regular communication with students, colleagues, and university administration to ensure effective operation of the program.
- Adhere to all university policies and procedures, and maintain high standards of academic integrity.
- Continuously evaluate and improve teaching methods and techniques to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly works in the field of nonprofit leadership and management.
- Represent the university and the Nonprofit Leadership and Management program at professional conferences and events.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission and values of the University of Southern California and the Nonprofit Leadership and Management program.
Master's Degree In Nonprofit Management Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working In The Nonprofit Sector.
Demonstrated Expertise In Nonprofit Leadership And Management Principles.
Prior Teaching Or Training Experience In A Higher Education Setting.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage And Motivate Students.
