The University of Rhode Island is currently seeking qualified individuals to join our team as part-time faculty in our Art and Art History graduate certificate program. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in a dynamic and engaging learning environment. We are looking for individuals who are dedicated, enthusiastic, and have a strong background in the field of art and art history.   1. Create and deliver engaging and informative lectures and course content related to art and art history for graduate students.
  2. Develop and revise course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments, to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  3. Provide individualized support and guidance to students, including feedback on assignments and projects.
  4. Stay current on developments and advancements in the field of art and art history to continually enhance course content and delivery.
  5. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and creativity.
  6. Collaborate with other faculty and staff to promote the program and recruit new students.
  7. Attend faculty meetings and participate in program development and evaluation.
  8. Engage in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching skills and knowledge.
  9. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
  10. Serve as a mentor and role model for students, instilling a passion for art and art history and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Job Qualifications
