We are currently seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Total Rewards to join our team and oversee our Compensation and Benefits program.   1. Develop and implement a comprehensive total rewards strategy that aligns with the University's mission and values.
  2. Oversee the design, development, and implementation of all compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive, equitable, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking to ensure the University's compensation and benefits packages remain competitive in the industry.
  4. Partner with senior leadership to develop and maintain a compensation philosophy that supports the University's goals and business objectives.
  5. Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure effective communication and understanding of total rewards programs and initiatives.
  6. Lead and manage a team of compensation and benefits professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
  7. Monitor and analyze trends in employee satisfaction and engagement related to compensation and benefits, and make recommendations for improvements.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective programs.
  9. Proactively identify and address any potential issues or concerns related to compensation and benefits, and develop solutions to mitigate risks.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to continuously improve the University's total rewards programs.
  11. Collaborate with other HR leaders to develop and implement strategies for attracting and retaining top talent.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to HR and other departments on all matters related to compensation and benefits.
  13. Develop and monitor total rewards budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  14. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the total rewards function.
  15. Represent the University in compensation and benefits-related matters with external stakeholders, such as government agencies, auditors, and consultants.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Compensation And Benefits, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Compensation And Benefits.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Develop And Implement Creative Solutions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Effectively Present Complex Information.
