  1. Oversee all financial operations of the University, including budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and investment management.
  2. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures in accordance with the University's goals and objectives.
  3. Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
  4. Manage the University's cash flow and ensure proper allocation of funds for various departments and initiatives.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with external financial institutions and lenders to ensure the University has access to necessary funding.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to develop long-term financial plans and strategies to support the University's growth and sustainability.
  7. Stay current with financial regulations and laws relevant to higher education and ensure compliance.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support in their roles and responsibilities.
  9. Collaborate with the University's audit and risk management departments to ensure proper controls are in place to mitigate financial risks.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the University and external stakeholders, such as government agencies and donors, on matters related to financial management.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in financial operations.
  12. Represent the University at financial meetings and conferences, staying informed of best practices and industry trends.
  13. Foster a culture of financial responsibility and accountability throughout the University community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Treasury Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Financial Markets, Cash Management, And Investment Strategies.

  • Experience With Risk Management And Financial Forecasting.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Multiple Departments And Stakeholders.
