- Oversee all post-award activities for the College of Health Sciences, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures as well as funding agency guidelines.
- Manage a team of post-award staff and provide guidance and support in all aspects of grants management.
- Develop and implement efficient and effective processes for post-award activities such as budget management, financial reporting, and subrecipient monitoring.
- Serve as the main point of contact for faculty and staff within the College of Health Sciences for all post-award matters.
- Collaborate with other university departments, such as the Office of Sponsored Projects and the Office of Finance, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
- Monitor grant budgets and expenditures, providing regular updates and projections to stakeholders.
- Conduct regular trainings and workshops for faculty and staff on post-award processes and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in funding agency guidelines, regulations, and industry standards, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork within the College of Health Sciences and across the university.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans and goals for the College of Health Sciences.
- Participate in university-wide committees and initiatives related to grants management and post-award activities.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of the College of Health Sciences or university administration.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Or Business Administration.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Managing Post-Award Activities In A Research Or Academic Setting.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Private Funding Regulations And Compliance Requirements.
Proven Track Record Of Successful Grant Management, Including Budgeting, Financial Reporting, And Oversight Of Grant-Funded Projects.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Faculty, Staff, And External Stakeholders.
