We are currently seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs in the College of Nursing (CON).   1. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality and competitiveness of the graduate programs in the College of Nursing.
  2. Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and implement innovative curriculum and teaching methods that align with industry trends and best practices.
  3. Provide leadership and guidance to faculty in curriculum development, course design, and program evaluation.
  4. Mentor and support graduate students in their academic and professional development, including advising on career options and opportunities.
  5. Oversee the recruitment, admission, and retention of students in the graduate nursing programs.
  6. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes diversity and cultural competence.
  7. Monitor and assess the performance of the graduate programs, and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
  8. Collaborate with other departments and programs within the university to develop interdisciplinary initiatives and opportunities for graduate students.
  9. Represent the College of Nursing and the university at various events and conferences related to graduate nursing education.
  10. Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as healthcare organizations and professional associations, to promote the graduate nursing programs and build partnerships.
  11. Participate in budget planning and management for the graduate programs in the College of Nursing.
  12. Ensure compliance with all relevant university policies and regulations, as well as accreditation standards for graduate nursing programs.
  13. Stay updated on industry advancements and trends in nursing education, and incorporate them into the graduate programs as appropriate.
  14. Serve as a liaison between the College of Nursing and other departments, committees, and organizations within the university.
  15. Other duties as assigned by the Dean of the College of Nursing.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Or Doctoral Degree In Nursing Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Academic Leadership, Preferably At The Graduate Level.

  • Active Nursing License And Experience In Clinical Practice.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Current Trends, Issues, And Standards In Nursing Education.

  • Strong Communication, Interpersonal, And Organizational Skills, With A Demonstrated Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Faculty, Staff, And Students.
