  1. Provide counseling services to students in order to support their mental health and well-being.
  2. Conduct research related to mental health in order to contribute to the advancement of the field.
  3. Foster a diverse and inclusive campus culture by providing culturally competent counseling services and advocating for inclusivity.
  4. Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices to address the unique needs of each individual student.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the university community, including faculty and staff, to support the overall well-being and success of students.
  6. Attend regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on the latest research and techniques.
  7. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  8. Adhere to the American Psychological Association (APA) Code of Ethics and other relevant ethical guidelines.
  9. Participate in outreach and educational programs to promote mental health awareness and destigmatize seeking help.
  10. Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of counseling services and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  11. Serve as a resource and consultant for faculty and staff regarding mental health concerns and strategies for supporting students.
  12. Collaborate with other mental health professionals, both on and off campus, to support the holistic well-being of students.
  13. Engage in self-care and prioritize personal well-being in order to maintain a healthy and sustainable work-life balance.

Job Qualifications
  • A Doctorate Degree In Psychology From An Accredited University.

  • State Licensure Or Eligibility For Licensure In The State Of Pennsylvania.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Clinical Practice, Preferably In A University Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Various Psychological Theories And Interventions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Diverse Populations Of Students, Faculty, And Staff.
