  1. Provide exceptional psychiatric care to patients at the University of Pittsburgh, with a focus on improving their mental health and overall well-being.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including gathering patient history, performing physical exams, and ordering diagnostic tests, to accurately diagnose and treat mental health disorders.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Psychiatric Nursing From An Accredited Program

  • Current Certification As A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Pmhnp)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Pmhnp In A Clinical Setting

  • Active And Unrestricted State Licensure As A Nurse Practitioner

  • Strong Knowledge And Experience In Psychiatric Assessment, Diagnosis, And Treatment Planning For A Diverse Patient Population.
