1. Perform tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining in a timely and accurate manner to ensure efficient workflow and timely diagnostic results.
2. Monitor and maintain proper equipment function and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
3. Ensure compliance with all safety and quality control protocols, including maintaining accurate records and documentation.
4. Collaborate with pathologists and other team members to ensure accurate interpretation of results and timely delivery to patients.

6. Train and mentor junior histotechnologists and students on proper techniques and procedures.
