
Part Time Assistant Teacher (University Child Development Center)

- Support children's social and emotional development through positive interactions and role modeling.
- Engage in play-based learning activities with children.
- Assist in the preparation and serving of snacks and meals.

- Attend team meetings and training sessions to further develop skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and inclusive learning environment.
- Adhere to all policies and regulations set by the University Child Development Center.
- Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information related to the children and families.
- Continuously strive to provide the best possible care and education for the children in our program.
- Adapt to changing schedules and responsibilities as needed.
- Assist with record-keeping and documentation as required by the center.
- Uphold the center's mission, values, and philosophy in all interactions with children, families, and colleagues.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Early Childhood Education Or Related Field
Previous Experience Working With Young Children In A Classroom Setting
Knowledge Of Child Development And Age-Appropriate Teaching Practices
Availability To Work Part-Time Hours And Flexibility To Work Occasional Evenings Or Weekends As Needed
