- Provide technical support and training for instructional technology tools and platforms used by faculty, staff, and students at the University of Pittsburgh.
- Collaborate with faculty and instructional designers to develop and implement innovative instructional technology solutions that enhance the learning experience for students.
- Stay current with emerging instructional technology trends and tools and make recommendations for their integration into the university's curriculum.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to instructional technology, including hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Develop and maintain instructional technology resources, such as user guides and training materials, to assist faculty, staff, and students in utilizing technology effectively.
- Coordinate and facilitate technology workshops and training sessions for faculty, staff, and students on various instructional technology tools and platforms.
- Serve as a liaison between the university's instructional technology department and other departments, providing guidance and support on technology integration.
- Collaborate with the university's IT department to ensure the smooth functioning and integration of instructional technology tools and systems.
- Monitor and analyze data on instructional technology usage and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of instructional technology strategies and initiatives.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism when working with faculty, staff, and students to address their instructional technology needs.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues or challenges related to instructional technology and make recommendations for improvement.
- Adhere to all university policies and procedures related to instructional technology and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to research and evaluate new instructional technology products and services.
- Other duties as assigned by the university's instructional technology department.
Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Instructional Technology Or Related Field.
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Instructional Design, Development, And Implementation.
Strong Knowledge And Proficiency In Learning Management Systems Such As Canvas And Blackboard.
Familiarity With Emerging Technologies And Instructional Tools, Such As Virtual And Augmented Reality, Online Collaboration Platforms, And E-Learning Software.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Faculty, Students, And Staff To Identify And Address Instructional Technology Needs.
