  1. Research and identify potential funding opportunities for the university.
  2. Develop and write grant proposals in accordance with grant guidelines and university policies.
  3. Review and analyze grant applications and contracts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  4. Collaborate with faculty and staff to gather necessary information and documentation for grant proposals.
  5. Negotiate and finalize contracts with funding agencies.
  6. Ensure timely submission of grant applications and manage deadlines.
  7. Maintain accurate and organized records of all grants and contracts.
  8. Monitor and track grant expenditures and ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
  9. Continuously stay updated on changes in grant regulations and guidelines.
  10. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of grants and contracts.
  11. Provide guidance and support to faculty and staff regarding grant and contract processes.
  12. Conduct trainings and workshops to educate faculty and staff on grant and contract procedures.
  13. Work closely with finance and accounting departments to reconcile grant expenditures and ensure accuracy.
  14. Identify and address any potential compliance issues and work to resolve them.
  15. Participate in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures related to grants and contracts.
  16. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to grants and contracts.
  17. Provide regular reports and updates on the status of grants and contracts to relevant stakeholders.
  18. Serve as a liaison between the university and funding agencies.
  19. Mentor and train junior grants and contracts specialists.
  20. Contribute to the overall success and advancement of the university's research initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Finance, Accounting, Or Business Administration.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Working In Grants And Contracts Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Or Research Environment.

  • Proficiency In Grant And Contract Regulations And Compliance, Including Federal, State, And Local Policies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Various Stakeholders.
