  1. Research and Identify Funding Opportunities: The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching and identifying potential funding opportunities that align with the University's research and educational goals.
  2. Write Grant Proposals: The main responsibility of the Grant Writer will be to develop compelling and persuasive grant proposals to secure funding from various sources.
  3. Collaborate with Faculty and Staff: The Grant Writer will work closely with faculty and staff across different departments to gather information, data, and other necessary materials for grant proposals.
  4. Ensure Compliance: The Grant Writer will be responsible for ensuring that all grant proposals meet the necessary guidelines and requirements set by funding agencies and organizations.
  5. Manage Grant Application Process: The Grant Writer will be responsible for managing the entire grant application process, including deadlines, submission, and follow-up.
  6. Maintain Grant Database: The Grant Writer will maintain a database of all grant proposals, submissions, and outcomes for future reference and reporting purposes.
  7. Stay Updated on Grant Opportunities: The Grant Writer will keep abreast of new funding opportunities and changes in grant application processes and guidelines to maximize the University's chances of securing funding.
  8. Monitor Grant Expenses: The Grant Writer will work closely with the finance department to monitor grant expenses and ensure that they are in line with the approved budget.
  9. Collaborate with Development Team: The Grant Writer will work closely with the development team to align grant proposals with the University's overall fundraising strategy.
  10. Monitor and Report on Grant Outcomes: The Grant Writer will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the outcomes of funded grants to stakeholders, including funders, university leadership, and faculty.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As English, Communications, Or Nonprofit Management.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Grant Writing, Preferably In A University Or Nonprofit Setting.

  • Strong Writing Skills And Ability To Create Compelling Proposals That Align With The University's Mission And Goals.

  • Knowledge Of Grant Funding Sources And Ability To Conduct Thorough Research To Identify Potential Opportunities.
