- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to increase revenue and optimize the revenue cycle process for the University of Pittsburgh.
- Lead and oversee the Growth & Revenue Cycle team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the university to identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth and revenue generation.
- Utilize your strong understanding of the higher education landscape to inform and guide revenue cycle strategies and decisions.
- Monitor and analyze revenue data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to achieve revenue goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including department heads, faculty, and staff, to support revenue growth initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in revenue cycle management to continuously improve processes and drive innovation.
- Work closely with the university's financial leadership to align revenue goals with overall financial objectives.
- Develop and manage budgets for the Growth & Revenue Cycle team, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve goals.
- Serve as a key member of the university's leadership team, providing insights and recommendations to support overall strategic planning and decision making.
Extensive Experience In Revenue Cycle Management: The Director Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Revenue Cycle Processes, Including Billing, Coding, And Collections. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing And Implementing Strategies To Improve Revenue Cycle Efficiency And Effectiveness.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance: The Director Should Be Well-Versed In Healthcare Regulations, Such As Hipaa And Medicare, And Have A Thorough Understanding Of Compliance Requirements For Revenue Cycle Operations.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills: The Director Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Effectively Managing A Team And Driving Results. They Should Be Able To Motivate And Mentor Staff, As Well As Collaborate With Other Departments And Stakeholders To Achieve Common Goals.
Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Director Should Be Able To Think Critically And Strategically To Identify Areas For Improvement And Develop Solutions To Complex Problems. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing And Implementing Long-Term Growth Strategies.
