- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for students with a wide range of mental health concerns and diagnoses.
- Provide crisis intervention and assessment services for students in urgent need of mental health support.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals and university staff to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student care.
- Develop and implement outreach programs and workshops to promote mental wellness and address common mental health issues among students.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
- Adhere to all relevant ethical guidelines and standards of practice in the field of clinical psychology.
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in mental health treatment to continuously improve services for students.
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for students of diverse backgrounds and identities.
- Serve as a resource and consultant for faculty, staff, and student organizations on issues related to mental health and well-being.
- Collaborate with community mental health providers and agencies to ensure students have access to necessary resources and services.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Support the university's mission to promote academic success and student retention through a holistic approach to mental health.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the mental health services team.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding student privacy and confidentiality.
- Engage in self-care practices to maintain personal well-being and prevent burnout.
A Doctoral Degree (Phd Or Psyd) In Clinical Psychology From An Accredited University.
A Current License To Practice As A Clinical Psychologist In The State Of Pennsylvania.
At Least 2 Years Of Post-Graduate Clinical Experience, Preferably In A University Setting.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practices In Mental Health Treatment.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, Including The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Population Of Students And Faculty.
