- Collaborate with the Director of Video Production to develop and execute the overall vision and strategy for video production at Pitt Studios.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the video production team, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the production of high-quality videos for various departments and initiatives within the university, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
- Utilize your creative talents and storytelling skills to conceptualize and develop compelling video content that aligns with the university's brand and messaging.
- Lead and mentor a team of videographers, editors, and other production staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them grow and excel in their roles.
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their objectives, provide creative input, and ensure that their needs are met throughout the production process.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for incorporating new technologies and techniques into our video production.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams within the university to identify opportunities for cross-promotion and collaboration.
- Ensure that all video projects adhere to brand guidelines, legal requirements, and university policies.
- Represent Pitt Studios at university events and meetings, and serve as a key point of contact for all video production inquiries.
Bachelor's Degree In Film Production, Video Production, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Video Production, With At Least 1 Year In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.
Strong Technical Skills And Proficiency In Video Editing Software Such As Adobe Premiere Pro And Final Cut Pro.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Variety Of Stakeholders Including Clients, Crew Members, And Other Departments.
Demonstrated Project Management Experience, Including The Ability To Plan, Organize, And Execute Multiple Video Projects Simultaneously Within Tight Deadlines.
