Job Description

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) is seeking an experienced Financial Counselor to join our team of dedicated professionals. In this role, you will provide guidance and support to our patients and families while navigating their financial needs. As a Financial Counselor, you will be responsible for evaluating financial information and developing payment plans.We are looking for an individual with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical billing field. Additionally, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. If you’re interested in joining our team and helping to support our patients, we’d love to hear from you.
