- Assist veterinarians in daily tasks and procedures.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and behavior.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
- Prepare patients for surgery and assist during procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Wards department.
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly sterilized and in working order.
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, colleagues, and pet owners.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and post-treatment instructions.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on new techniques and procedures in veterinary medicine.

Certification As A Veterinary Technician - Candidates Must Possess A Valid Certification As A Veterinary Technician (Cvt) Or Licensed Veterinary Technician (Lvt) From An Accredited Institution.
Prior Experience In A Veterinary Setting - Candidates Must Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Veterinary Clinic Or Hospital, With A Strong Preference For Experience In A University Or Teaching Hospital Setting.
Knowledge Of Animal Care And Handling - Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Proper Animal Care And Handling Techniques, As Well As Experience Administering Medications, Performing Routine Medical Procedures, And Monitoring Animal Health.
Proficiency In Laboratory Procedures - Candidates Must Have Experience With A Variety Of Laboratory Procedures, Including Blood Draws, Iv Catheter Placement, Radiology, And Anesthesia Monitoring.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills - Candidates Should Possess Strong Communication Skills And Be Able To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced, Team-Oriented Environment. Additionally, Candidates Must Be Highly Organized And Able To Efficiently Manage Multiple Tasks And Responsibilities.
