  11. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, and animal patients.
  12. Display a compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animal patients and their owners.
  13. Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance the overall quality of care provided to animal patients.
  14. Handle and respond to emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner.
  15. Represent the University of Pennsylvania and its veterinary services in a professional and positive manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Veterinary Technology Or Related Field.

  • Certification As A Veterinary Technician (Cvt, Lvt, Or Rvt) In The State Of Pennsylvania.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Veterinary Technician In A Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of And Proficiency In Various Veterinary Procedures, Such As Administering Medication, Performing Diagnostic Tests, And Assisting In Surgeries.

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Work Well In A Team Setting, As Well As Handle Difficult Or Emotional Situations With Clients And Patients.
