  1. Provide expert research assistance to students, faculty, and staff of the University of Pennsylvania.
  2. Design and deliver instructional sessions to promote information literacy and support the research and teaching mission of the university.
  3. Develop innovative services and resources to enhance the learning and research experience at the University of Pennsylvania.
  4. Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, and staff, to identify and meet their information needs.
  5. Stay current with information literacy concepts and trends to continuously improve services and resources.
  6. Utilize various technologies and tools to facilitate research and instruction.
  7. Participate in collection development and management to ensure the availability of relevant and current resources.
  8. Promote library resources and services through outreach activities and partnerships with academic departments and student organizations.
  9. Contribute to the development and assessment of information literacy programs.
  10. Maintain accurate records and statistics to support decision-making and report on the impact of services and resources.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all library users.
  12. Keep abreast of developments in the academic library field and participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  13. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of work.
  14. Collaborate with colleagues in the library and across the university to support the overall mission and goals of the institution.
  15. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the library administration.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Library Science Or Information Science From An Accredited Institution.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Research Library Or Academic Setting.
